The European Commission published the summary and results of the consultation launched on 17 June 2020 on the White Paper on levelling the playing field as regards foreign subsidies

Nctm took part to the public consultation, replying to the questions addressed by the European Commission about the general instrument to capture foreign subsidies (Module 1) and the foreign subsidies facilitating the acquisition of EU targets (Module 2).

As a follow-up to the White Paper, the Commission announced different options to address distortions caused by foreign subsidies and a legislative proposal for levelling the playing field would come forward in the second quarter of 2021.
